What Type of Records Should You Gather For Your Case?

Keep your attorney informed about your ongoing medical treatment.

Keep track of all of your medical appointments and days off work because of your treatment or injury.

Obtain all of your medical records pertaining to your injury and treatment from your doctor.

It is often faster if you call your doctor or hospital, make an appointment to pick up your medical records, and once you obtain them save a copy for your records and give a copy to your attorney.

Medical records requests from attorneys are often put on the back burner at doctors' offices and hospitals, and can take many weeks to receive.

It is very important that all of your injuries be documented in your medical records, and that your medical records be admitted as evidence at trial to prove your damages.
